(Art) A Reminder, Praise, and Imprecation

I tried dabbling a bit in poetry... It has been some time since I last went artsy. Well here's how it turned out.

May this be a reminder for you, and me:
Remember that our parents have loved us truly.
In their protective care we have flourished,
Bred for tomorrow, with love we are nourished.

But my tears and prayers to all innocence unborn
For their chance to exist, some of you selfishly scorn:
Wasted wonders, the life you dare deny to deliver.
Unfit to be a mother, a chance to live, you're no giver.

Spare us the excuse, like your indifference or ineptitude.
You wish to deny one's chance to life: What ingratitude!
All struggles for your safe delivery that were hard-fought,
The pain, love and anguish, in your egoism, all for naught!

Here's to all you kind and selfless parents for your valor!
With the bliss of newborn life, all anguish made up for.
The ingrates that selfishly aborted the life they spurn
They'll eternally regret in pain, and inside they'll burn.
